Robert Manna, Chairman + Executive Committee Member
Robert is the current chairman for DTS, his day job is working for Stantec in the Boston office, he has been a key team member on multiple projects, and he now serves as the BIM R&D leader for the firm as well as providing business consulting services for clients implementing BIM. He provides high level support, planning and implementation of new tools and management of custom software development for Revit. He has spoken at: RTC NA, Autodesk University, has been a guest lecturer at the BAC, and has presented at BIM events hosted by the AIA, ACEC, Autodesk and resellers. He has written two articles about Revit for the AUGI AEC Edge magazine, and has written assessment questions for KnowledgeSmart. He can occasionally be found on Twitter (rpiboy) and in his free time he enjoys swimming, skiing and biking with his wife and three year old daughter.
Craig Barbieri, Executive Committee Member + Group Leader – Collaboration
Craig Barbieri is an international Design Technology consultant and drives the use of technologies to enhance the practice of design and engineering. Previously of KlingStubbins, he identifies, directs and implements BIM and “best practice” technologies that enhanced firms capabilities and productivity. With 15 years of experience with BIM in practice, management, and leadership he has managed some substantial advancements in the use of design technology, as well as the cultural and process related changes that followed the adoption of BIM. Craig has broad insight into the challenges AEC BIM projects face and has broad expertise in Architecture, Engineering and design, mission critical, federal government, design excellence, and IPD projects. He has played a key role on the success of some of the largest and most complicated BIMs ever created and the first Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) project in New England. He is an advocate for maximizing the potential of current and new technologies on projects and monitors the effective use of the benefits BIM provides. He shares his experience online through his iRevit.com blog and is active as an Executive committee member of the Revit Technology Conference Design Technology Summit.
Craig holds a Masters of Architecture and Masters of Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Business from the University of California. He is an Associate member of the AIA, and can be found online through Google.
Wesley Benn, Executive Committee Member

Wesley is the founder of RTC Events Management and chairman of the Revit Technology Conference series. As a long-term user and advocate of Revit, Wesley has been speaking and teaching in the field since starting to play with a pre-release version of the software. ADDglobal (www.addglobal.com.au) is an outsourcing and BIM consulting team operating Australia-wide and internationally. Projects have ranged from documentation services across multiple project types and disciplines; to architectural design management for designers, developers, contractors, and owner-operators; to BIM and technology management of major projects (up to $14 billion) around the world. David Spehar, AIA – Committee Member
David is a licensed architect with over 20 years of experience on a wide range of architectural projects. He has been a Revit user and BIM advocate since 2003 and is a Revit Architecture Certified Professional. David is currently Stantec’s Corporate BIM Leader overseeing the firm-wide practice integration of BIM through training and education, development of best practices, project management support, multi-discipline BIM collaboration, and performance based design integration. He is a leader in helping Stantec transition from a document based design process to an intelligent model based design process.
David has a strong background in architectural project management and project BIM management. His strengths include client interface, BIM planning, project cost control, overall project coordination, and schedule management. Throughout his career he has been responsible for a range of responsibilities from complete project design, documentation and management of smaller projects, to project management and coordination of large, complex projects.
Clay Starr, Group Leader – Innovation
Clay serves as the Director of Engineering Applications for ARCADIS and is responsible for managing the training, implementation, and support for all aspects of ARCADIS’s use of design technology; whether BIM, Parametric Design, Integrated Delivery, Energy Analysis, or Collaboration. He has contributed to more than 200 BIM projects of all sizes & types and trained over 600 employees globally.
Robert Yori, Group Leader- Management
Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP
Robert Yori is the Senior Digital Design Manager in the New York office of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, exploring innovative uses of technology to better design, visualize, and deliver SOM’s projects. He manages technology-related R&D efforts, provides strategic guidance to project teams, designs and maintains learning curricula and content, and trains team members. With his counterparts in the other SOM offices, he leads the Firmwide Digital Design initiatives, including knowledge sharing, big data analysis, and computational design literacy.
Robert is the 2016 Chair of the AIA’s Technology in Architectural Practice (TAP) Advisory Group, Advisory Board Member of the NYC College of Technology’s Department of Architectural Technology, and a co-leader of the RTC Design Technology Summit. He has presented at ACADIA, Autodesk University, BIMForum, and RTC, and has been published in DesignIntelligence, the Journal of Building Information Modeling, and is featured in “Data Driven Design and Construction”, Randy Deutsch’s most recent book.
